Diversified Foods and Seasonings is a leading food manufacturing company headquartered in Covington, Louisiana on the North Shore of Lake Pontchartrain. Our three manufacturing facilities are located in Theodore, Alabama; Madisonville, Louisiana; and Nebraska City, Nebraska.
Our facility in Madisonville, Louisiana has the capabilities to produce retail-size bowls and flexible pouches as well as food service flexible pouches in either a refrigerated or frozen format. When folks around Madisonville catch the wonderful aroma of Southern-style cooking wafting through the air, they know our plant is in production.
In Nebraska City we make a wide variety of frozen or refrigerated dishes in flexible pouches ranging from one pound to six pounds for our food service customers. Think of perfectly seasoned cooked meat mixes for filling burritos, or the creamiest macaroni and cheese imaginable, or a truly zesty BBQ dish – these are just a few of the delicious foods we create here.
|At Diversified, we not only make fantastic-tasting food – we also develop the ingredients that make food taste better. For example, we manufacture proprietary custom blended dry marinades, gravies, sauces, batters and breadings at our Theodore (Mobile), Alabama facility. Our products help to create the kind of succulent fried chicken everyone loves – with just the right spice levels in the breading. Or the delicious brown gravy that makes a hot roast beef sandwich so delectable.|
